The mountain has become the second most visited tourist destination in Cusco after Machu Picchu. Day 1

Cusco - Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca

We start the tour in Cusco picking up to all our travelers around 4:20 am from their hotels to start the trip to Qollasuyo, southern part of ancient Quechua (Cusco), we will travel for 4 hours in transport, first we will pass by village of Checacupe, then by Pitumarka, and finally we will arrive at Quechuyno, place where the trek will begin, and here we will stop for breakfast and after a brief talk, we will begin our walk at the foot of the snowed of Ausangate, the ascent will be of approximately 1 hour and half to the highest point of the Rainbow Mountain, during the tour we observe different Andean animals of the area and beautiful landscapes, after arriving at Mountain 7 colors, we will have time to take photographs of this enigmatic place. The guide will give you an explanation what is the origin of those colors over this unique mountain also you will have your free time to have a great view and picture of this place.
Then, we will continue with our 1 hour and half descent trek (Quechuyno) where we begin the trekking, at this point we will have lunch, finally we will return to Cusco, our arrival will be around 5:30 pm approx.
