Procession of Señor de los temblores Holy Monday. Every year in the city of Cusco during Holy Week, the procession of Señor de los temblores takes place (Holy Monday), and thousands of people receive a blessing at different points in the historic center. For 2026, the blessing will be on March 30th, and these are the designated locations:
2:00 pm – 1st Blessing: Cusco Cathedral Basilica.
6:00 pm – 2nd Blessing: San Francisco Square.
7:00 pm – 3rd Blessing: El Sol Avenue.
8:00 pm – Final Blessing: Cusco Cathedral Basilica.

Throughout the procession, you can see balconies adorned with ñucchu flowers, a tradition that began in 1950 when the image of the Señor de los temblores was carried in procession to calm a powerful earthquake. From that moment, this custom began out of faith and devotion.
