In Aguas Calientes or also known as Machu Picchu Town you can buy your ticket to Machu Picchu at the last minute, at this point they sell 1000 tickets daily that can be purchased in person. The 1000 tickets are divided into three routes: Circuit 1, Circuit 2 and Circuit 3.
Important:
• As this is a last-minute ticket, it is recommended that you arrive at the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes) one day in advance. This way, you can get your ticket for the next day.
• The purchase is personal, presenting your passport or ID.

• During the high season, try to arrive during the day in Aguas Calientes and go directly to the Ministry of Culture of Peru, which is located on the left hand side of the Main Plaza next to the Inca. You must wait in line so that you can be attended to. Afterwards, they will give you your ticket so that you can later come and buy your ticket.
• During the high season, do not buy your return train if you do not yet have your ticket, try to buy it when you already have your ticket.
